This just in: THIS BOOK IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU is a 2010 SCIBA Book Award Finalist. When I first heard, I figured SCIBA must stand for Society of Crazy Insane Bonkers Book Addicts, but as it turns out, it stands for Southern California Booksellers Association. (Or is that pretty much the same thing?) Up against my terrible book in the Children's Novel category: a much better and more beautiful book called BEAUTIFUL CREATURES as well as a much prettier one called PRETTY DEAD. If you haven't read my book, I urge you to read them instead!
